Education and urban life

Education and urban life: 20 years of Educating Cities is an anthology of texts collated to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Association. It was presented as part of the X Congress of the AICE held in Sao Paulo in 2004.

The three chapters of the anthology are: The new challenges of urban life, in which economists and sociologists talk about the recent evolution of the concept of city life, Education: the present is the future, in which it is discussed the future that the very concept of education entails, and the third chapter of the book is devoted to the history of the Association, to its Conferences and to a selection of some witnesses that allow the reader to fix the work done and to open doors to new paths already glimpsed.
